Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Human Resource Specialist is assigned to the HR Business Partners Division (BPHP) within the Budget, People, and Management Systems Department (BPMSD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.

BPHP provides strategic advice and support to line managers in attracting, managing and retaining the best talent in line with ADB Strategy 2030 and departmental goals. In close collaboration with ADB departments and offices, it also implements HR initiatives and policies, particularly in the areas of organizational development, talent and performance management, career development, and change management.

You will report to designated International Staff and/or National Staff.

Your Role
As a Human Resource Assistant, you will provide technical and coordination support in various activities within the division including knowledge dissemination, database management, communications, and other operational functions.

You Will

• Assist in operational activities within the division, including but not limited to: (i) preparation and collation of inputs for various reports; (ii) delivery of engagement activities including knowledge dissemination, retreats, and division-wide meetings; (iii) records management; and (iv) support to special projects assigned to BPHP.
• Design and create communication collaterals including presentations, videos, talking points, emails, and other materials needed to achieve specific objectives.
• Maintain, update, and improve BPHP’s intranet home page.
• Serve as the lead processor of mission travel arrangements for the division.
• Provide technical support to recruitment-related activities including managing of independent panelist roster and facilitating interview panel arrangements.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned and reflected in the incumbent’s work plan.

Qualifications

You will need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business or Public Administration, Social Sciences, or related area.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in human resources or communications
• Knowledge and understanding of human resources policies and procedures
• Knowledge and proficiency of relevant office technology applications and personnel database systems
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams as constructive team member
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
