Unit Context:

ITSTR (Information Technology Solutions – Treasury) provides application support for Client Management Platform (CMP) application and RAMP Business Analytics Tool (RBAT).   This Terms of Reference document describes the requirements for a senior developer position for supporting and maintaining these two applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

•Understanding of business requirements and translating them to technical solutions for CMP and RBAT

•Clear documentation of requirements, designs specifications, and technical solutions

•Proposing well thought-out solutions based on thorough understanding of the problem and ensuring the solution will not have side effects.

•Implementing solutions using good coding principles

•Preparation and documentation of testing documents (test plans, test results) as required.

•Thorough testing of own changes or other developers’ changes

•Performing code reviews for other developers

•Clear communication with BAs, other developers, team leads, and business users on requirements, status of tasks, etc.

•Responding promptly to business users’ requests

•Prioritizing and planning changes to applications

•Following all established change management processes to ensure compliance with audit requirements.

•Working with infrastructure teams as needed to support applications and/or resolve any application issues, test the application after periodic infrastructure upgrades, etc.

•Working with information security team in addressing any application vulnerabilities within the required timeframe

•Identifying and exploring new features of upcoming releases of Microsoft Dynamics 365 that could be valuable to CMP business users and communicating and demonstrating these features to those users

 

Selection Criteria

 

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Strong analytical and development skills

•Willingness to ask questions to clarify requirements as needed.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate well with all stakeholders at all levels, technical as well as non-technical.

•Ability to gain quick understanding of applications and implement necessary changes.

•Motivated and willing to learn new technologies and integrate them into existing solutions or new solutions as needed.

•Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks and complete them with minimal supervision and follow-ups.

•Ability to respond promptly to requests.

•Familiarity with and ability to integrate other Microsoft applications such as Project, Teams, Power Automate, Power BI, Planner, Outlook, and Forms into existing solutions or new solutions.

DELIVERABLES AND ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
•The resource will be engaged in continuous support and maintenance of applications.  Performance will be assessed based on the quality of support as described in the Roles and Responsibilities section.
