The SES Digital Platform provides a set of enablers worldwide to offer a new and improved experience to prospective donors and existing individual supporters through tailored communication and customized donor journeys with UNICEF.
The Supporter Engagement Strategy (SES) Digital ecosystem consists of Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, Power BI and other third-party technologies which is adopted by UNICEF fundraising markets to digitally transform their way of working.
The Salesforce Digital Platform is developed with an agreed reference or enterprise architecture as the core principle to enable scalability. Fund Raising markets can localize the solution for market specific requirements, such as Payment Gateways and unique fundraising channels.
Continuous growth, implementation, maintenance, and support of the SES Digital Platform must be managed to successfully meet the need of stakeholders. Implementation and localization in markets is driven by the central SES team and is executed in collaboration with an implementing partner and/or third-party vendor.
Under the supervision of the Chief Digital Tools and Platforms, the incumbent of this post will lead as a Senior Technical Project Manager and manage the successful implementation and delivery of the scope of the SES project.

Roadmap
The SES project roadmap in 2024 and 2025 includes multiple country offices in the ECAR and LAC regions, including Brazil, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Greece. The timeline is dependent on country office readiness to embark on the project. The consultant is expected to technical project management 2-3 projects squad that includes combination of SES implementations (pre-implementation, implementation, testing/Go Live and Hypercare phase) and major enhancements for under Business-as-usual phase. The consultant is expected to work across different time zones to support the global project implementation.

Reporting structure: The SES Senior Technical PM Consultant will report to the ICT Specialist SCS, ICTD. Duration of contract: 12 months
Travel: This role will work with UNICEF Country Offices so travel will be required. This will be covered separately by UNICEF as per current Travel Policy, and not in the lump sum fees.

Individuals engaged under a consultancy or individual contract will not be considered “staff members” under the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations and UNICEF’s policies and procedures, and will not be entitled to benefits provided therein (such as leave entitlements and medical insurance coverage). Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
The selected candidate is solely responsible to ensure that the visa (applicable) and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract.
