The Head of People & Culture will provide:
The Head of People & Culture will lead and direct the HR function, aligning it with the Country Office and Plan International’s strategic priorities. They will foster an agile, high-performance culture, ensure efficient HR operations, and compliance with policies and labor laws. The role includes building P&C capacity, supporting humanitarian response, and embedding safeguarding policies, while maintaining key relationships with regional and country stakeholders.

The position involves overseeing:
the implementation of HR strategies, ensuring compliance with policies and labor laws, managing the full employee lifecycle, and building P&C capacity. It also includes supporting humanitarian response efforts and maintaining key relationships with regional and country stakeholders.

Essential criteria for this role include:
Essential criteria for this role include excellent proficiency in English and Arabic, proven HR skills, significant professional experience in strategic and operational HR practices, and strong communication and negotiation abilities. Experience in the non-profit sector in Africa is desirable.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
The holder of the position will be working in an office environment and entails 30 % travel within Sudan.
