Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 700 staff in Ukraine and will continue significant scale-up in 2024 to implement emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.
DRC is currently looking for a highly qualified Finance Coordinator to join our team in Kyiv.
About the job
You will be responsible for managing all proposal budgeting, internal, and donor reporting for DRC UKR. You will support the Finance Manager in ensuring the implementation of new financial processes and tools in compliance with DRC’s Operations Handbook, internal guidelines, and donor requirements. You will be responsible for strengthening procedures and systems for financial management and control, conducting spot checks and internal reviews, and implementing action plans to address weaknesses. Additionally, You will provide training and on-the-job support to ensure effective budget follow-up, financial reporting, and decentralized financial management processes.

To be successful in this role we expect you to have at least 5 year’s work experience in the field of finance/accounting in an INGO. You will need to work with a big volume of information and to have experience in Excel to sort and analyze them. Moreover, we also expect the following:
