JOB DESCRIPTION

We have started the new country strategy in July 2020 aiming to achieve this exciting and ambitious vision. This would require the organization to have an effective, efficient and committed workforce willing to challenge the prevailing status quo, engaging men, women, boys, youth people, especially girls and bringing the best out of all to create synergy for movement at all levels – from community to national, and beyond.

Plan International Bangladesh together with Mott MacDonald’s -Consortium Lead, SERAC-Bangladesh, ICDDR,B going to implement an USAID funded project “Adolescent Health Activity-AHA”. The objective of the project to reduce early marriage and early child bearing among very early adolescents (VYA) living in four division namely Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur and Chattagram.

The role and Scope:

Social Norms and Community Officer will be based at AHA regional office, and will provide oversight the implementation of the detailed implementation plan related to strengthening social support system of AHA project and also provide related necessary technical supports in an assigned division. One position will be based at Dhaka and the other position will be based at Chattagram.
