Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position is assigned to the Infrastructure and Technology Division (ITID) within the Information Technology Department (ITD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
ITID is responsible for the design, governance, implementation, maintenance, and day-to-day operations of ADB’s technology infrastructure, platforms, and associated systems. Among others, the division monitors production systems, resolves production issues, monitors ADB’s infrastructure and applications for potential security threats, and reacts appropriately to identified security breaches.
You will report to the designated International Staff and may supervise a group of contractors and managed services personnel.
Your position title upon appointment is IT Officer (Technical Security).
Your Role
As an IT Officer (Privileged Access Management), you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and operating appropriate information security measures to protect ADB’s information assets and information technology infrastructure and ensure access to key systems and data is properly secured.
You will
- Lead a team in managing the system and processes supporting privileged access to IT infrastructure and systems, as well as other key processes such as Oracle ERP administration, remote access token management, or other processes as required.
- Oversee the lifecycle of privileged accounts from creation, assignment, recertification to deletion and ensure usage of these privileged access is done in a secure manner.
- Integrate privileged access management (PAM) platform with existing or new IT infrastructure and applications.
- Maintain and operate processes and procedures that allow uninterrupted access to privileged identities during disaster scenarios to ensure business continuity objectives can be met.
- Manage relationships with solution providers, managed service providers, resellers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Stay informed about the latest PAM technologies and industry best practices and continuously assess and improve the PAM strategy to address emerging threats and business needs.
- Support internal or external audit and attestation exercises by articulating controls related to privileged access management.
- Drive innovation in security automation and orchestration.
- Other duties that may be assigned as reflected in the incumbent’s work plan.
Qualifications
You will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or relevant fields, preferably with advanced training. Significant achievement or experience in relevant domains may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- At least 8 years of IT security or technology operations-related experience.
- Hands-on knowledge and experience in managing and administering industry-leading privileged access management platforms such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust or equivalent.
- Experience and expertise in administering various modules and performing content and code management for the Oracle EBS environment is strongly desired.
- Experience managing remote access tokens is desired.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a matrixed environment.
- Proven track record of strong relationship management capabilities with infrastructure administrators, system owners, and business users in the field of access provisioning and privileged access management.
- Strong planning and organizing skills to handle many tasks with deadlines.
- Ability to develop rapport internally and externally in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams as a constructive team member.
- Written and verbal proficiency in English.
