  • University degree (preferably in computer sciences with a specialisation in cyber security).
  • Not less than five years of experience in the Cyber security field.
  • Ability to work independently, to be self-motivated and to be able to prepare logical and clear reports for management decision-making.
  • Very good understanding of industry best practices and hands-on experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail as well as ability to make connections across and between different areas. Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work quickly to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple task assignments.
Specific Qualifications
  • Proven in-depth knowledge of and experience in designing, operating and maintaining cyber security technologies and solutions, such as but not limited to: Next Generation Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, email gateways, Intrusion Prevention System, Vulnerability Management, Web Proxies and Reverse proxies, anti-malware and endpoint protection technologies, Public Key Infrastructures (PKIs) and Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
  • Any cyber security related certifications would be considered an asset.
  • Solid knowledge of offensive security tactics, techniques, tools and procedures.
  • Broad technical background knowledge in the area of IT: Solid knowledge of networking protocols and security, application security, Operating System security, Cloud security.
  • Knowledge of risk management methodologies and concepts.
  • Excellent understanding of complex and interrelated security issues, including monitoring, troubleshooting and security incident/intrusion handling.
LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
  • NATO’s two official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable

POST DETAILS

  • Basic monthly salary: EUR 7 370.72, tax free.
