Responsibilities: 

Program Delivery:

  • Conduct update data collection and data entry and assist in design of project activities in line with agreed work plan
  • Ensure community mobilization and facilitate community-based project activities through regular interaction with individuals in conflict affected area
  • To ensure the volunteers maintain good distribution management practices
  • To conduct the IDP registration / PDM / Market price and relevant information collecting
  • To prepare the cash/food assistance packages with standard guidance and procedures
  • Assist and facilitate capacity building workshops or training for variety of stakeholders, Camp leaders, committees and volunteers including CBO/CSO/partner members
  • Assist supervisor in preparing township work plan and budget estimation.
  • Assist in managing volunteers and supporting camp management committees
  • Assisting in update IDPs tracker and identifying gap and needed of each target places
  • Monitoring and collecting case study/success stories for project activities.
  • Maintain and collect required project documents
  • Assist to supervisor for monthly /quarterly workplan and reporting process
  • Any other duties and tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements: 

  • Any University Degree.
  • One-year professional working experience, development sector preferred (or) good experiences of cash/food distribution, experience working in conflict-areas and humanitarian response projects is desirable
  • Distribution management, knowledge on cash assistance process and documentation
  • Professional working experience with organizations is preferable.
  • Good communication skills
  • Good understanding of local context
  • Proven team working ability.
  • Computer proficiency in word, excel and knowledge on KOBO tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to live and travel in remote locations
  • Interest & willingness to learn from community.
  • Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s aims, values, and principles.
