1. Work closely with the other CMs Officers to ensure quality implementation of all Child Protection (CM) activities in area of work in accordance with SC’s policies .
2. Lead in identification of CP Assistants capacity needs and facilitate relevant trainings, coaching and mentoring the team to deliver quality work.
3. Regularly review documentation of CP cases through case audits, review of files and databases. Ensure confidentiality and that data protection and information-sharing protocols are respected.
4. Map and coordinate with service providers to support case management activities
5. Conduct assessment to identify the safety and protection of needs of the child, develop care plan, implement the care plan and conduct follow-ups
6. Work with the MEAL plan to ensure links to reporting requirements where possible, refer the MEAL framework to build an evidence-base for child protection activities interventions.
7. With support from the CRM/Accountability team put in place accountability activities for your project, ensuring that feedback from children and their families is considered in project design
8. Manage- monitor and supervise case workers and ensure they are held accountable
9. Train and sensitize CP CM Assistants and community structures on SCI policies on Protection on Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (PSEA), anti – fraud and other relevant accountability policies.
10. Develop quarterly and monthly CP CM activity plans and support the Assistants to develop individual monthly and weekly plans.
11. Ensure effective implementation of work plans according to DIP.
12. Strengthen link between CP CM teams with other activities such PSS and CPCs and ensure cases identified in the Community Center receive appropriate case management services.
13. Coordinate with Logistics on procurement CM supplies, distribution, documentation and reporting.
14. Perform other functions relative to Child Protection activities and initiatives that may be assigned by Line Manager.
