Responsibilities: 

  • Provide technical leadership to MHPSS and broader mental health interventions.
  • Manage community outreach and service delivery for underserved populations.
  • Analyze sector developments as related to anticipated project outcomes and activities, and build partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Introduce innovative approaches to mental healthcare delivery.
  • Guide development of training materials for healthcare professionals.
  • Advise on mental health system transformation for quality care.
  • Collaborate on monitoring, best practices, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support relationships with key donors and Save the Children colleagues.
  • Lead the development of donor reports and related products related to project activities.
  • Manage and participate in key stakeholder consultations, including project workshops, webinars, and other related events.

Requirements: 

  • Advanced degree in mental health, psychiatry, global health, clinical social work, psychology, international development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible professional experience in direct implementation of MHPSS or mental health programming with humanitarian and/or development contexts.
  • Knowledge and understanding of key MHPSS, protection, humanitarian assistance, and global development issues, including disaster response, conflict affected populations, trauma-informed care, and other related areas.
  • Experience providing technical support and management for MHPSS and/or broader focused protection programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively in team situations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Ukrainian is an advantage.
