Responsibilities: 

In close coordination with the HRBP PG Team, the HR Officer will be responsible for the below areas:

A.HR focal point for the UNV UoM programme
?Coordinate the full recruitment cycle of UNV YoM, including selection of UNVs, onboarding process, administrative support to hiring offices, monitoring of contracts to ensure timely action for renewals and/or separation and advise offices accordingly.
?Monitor programme experience of UNV YoM through check-ins, exit interviews, surveys and provide guidance and support.
?Promote the UNV YoM Programme internally, including support with developing content for UNICEF pages and channels and support to manage the call for expressions of interest.
?Act as a Focal Point between UNICEF HQ/Migration and Displacement Hub, UNICEF Country Offices (COs) and UNV and ensure close collaboration between different stakeholders.
?Support the Career Development Portfolio for UNV YoM, including connecting UNV YoM with career coaching, mentorship and learning opportunities within UNICEF.
?Assist Hosting Offices with organizing and conducting the orientation for UNV YoM.
?Support with organizing training webinars for UNV YoM to foster knowledge exchange.
?Prepare briefing packets and data briefs, including support to develop Communication materials informed by HR data analytics and testimonials from UNV Youth on the Move.
?Manage a UNV Youth on the Move Community on SharePoint page or other networks like Yammer to share updates about opportunities and upcoming events and other relevant information.

B.HR Data Analytics
?Compile data that conveys organizational progress towards gender equity and cultural diversity.
?Collect HR data to help inform decision-making on HR processes and strategies
?Support in managing documents/information in consolidating in one document repository for the UNV Youth on the Move programme

C. Support to HR Business Partnering
?Support the business partners in developing initiatives to encourage employee well-being and learning initiatives.
?Support the business partners in assisting in the recruitment portfolio as needed.

Requirements: 

human resources management, specifically in recruitment and learning and development areas.
?Experience working on migration and displacement issues and/or youth engagement a strong asset.
?Strong research, planning and organizational skills.
?Excellent knowledge of information technology systems and tools.
?Computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, social media, and others).
?Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse organization tailoring language, tone, style and format to match audience.
?Ability to empathize with young people, supervisors and staff while advocating for consistent and equitable applications of promulgated HR regulations and rules.
