We are looking for 2 Online Volunteers who under the guidance of the Climate Action Focal Point and in close collaboration with the communications team support us by developing and designing a website for RCOY Africa 2024. In particular, the Online Volunteers are asked to:

1. Develop and Design the Website:

• Design and develop a visually appealing, on-theme and user-friendly website for RCOY Africa 2024.
• Ensure the website is accessible in two languages English and French; responsive; and mobile-friendly.
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Regularly update the website to ensure security, performance, and content freshness.

• Collaborate with the RCOY team to gather, create, and upload content (e.g., event details, speaker bios, blog posts, news updates).
• Ensure all content is available in multiple languages, as necessary.
• Integrate multimedia elements such as videos, images, and infographics to enhance user experience.

-The two volunteers will be working together and with the UNICEF Morocco and RCOY team;
– The website must comply with UN guidelines, standards, and policies and the two volunteers must adhere to data protection and privacy regulations, particularly regarding participants information.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in web development and design, particularly for large events or conferences.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and tools.
• Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
• Proficiency in both English and French
