Responsibilities:

 This internship may be discharged in person or remotely. Responsibilities Interns will be responsible for the following duties: (a) translating into Spanish, which must be the candidate’s main language, verbatim records of meetings from English for training and other purposes and subject to review; (b) transcribing or reviewing Spanish transcriptions; (c) assist with testing of technologies, including speech-to-text; (d) performing other related duties as required. Requirements:

Education Applicants at the time of the application meet one of the following requirements: a) Be enrolled in a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); b) Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent); c) Have graduated with a university degree (as defined in a) and b) above) and must commence the internship within a one-year period of graduation. Work Experience No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Program. Your training, education, advance course work or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship. Language For the internship advertised, fluency in Spanish, which must be the candidate’s main language, and fluency of English, are required. Knowledge of a third official language would be an asset. The official languages of the United Nations are: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.

No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Your training, education, advance course work or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship. Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D.
