Responsibilities:

Project Implementation:

  • Maintain project tracking and alert managers on deadlines.
  • Assist in amending agreements and managing risk registers.
  • Document lessons learned and support project planning.
  • Follow up with partners on agreements and project closure.


Project Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Assist in preparing project reports and documents.
  • Compile and analyze data for reports.
  • Maintain project records and enter data into UNOPS ERP (OneUNOPS).
  • Monitor expenditures and provide updates on budget status.

Operational and Administrative Support:

  • Support the Project Manager and the team members in logistics and administrative tasks such as organization of meetings and trainings
  • Organize partner meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points.
  • Liaise with partners and internal units for project activities.
  • Support procurement activities as required
  • Prepare briefing materials for missions and discussions.
  • Support finance related activities such as raising receipts, support payments and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Management and Innovation:

  • Support the compilation of lessons learned and best practices.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and capacity building.
  • Maintain records of project files and reports.
  • Support the preparation and sharing of information with stakeholders.
Requirements: 

Education

  • Completion of secondary school combined with 6 years of professional experience is required;
  • Diploma Certificate preferably in Business Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Procurement, Management, International Relations and or other relevant disciplines combined with four (4) years of relevant professional experience may be considered but not mandatory;
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Management, International Relations and or other relevant discipline combined with two (2) years of relevant professional experience may be considered but not required.

Experience

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant and progressive professional experience, preferably in the field of Project Management with focus on monitoring, recording, reporting, and coordination is required
  • Experience with administration/logistics/procurement/finance.
  • Experience working with Google Suite platform including, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides is an asset.
  • Minimum of 1 year working experience with the UN and or international organizations would be an asset;
  • Experience and demonstrated knowledge of UN rules and procedures in Project Management, Finance and administrative rules and regulations will be an advantage.
  • Experience in reporting writing and donor communication is strongly desirable.

Certification

  • PRINCE2® certification or similar certification is an asset.

Language Skills

  • Proficient in both English and Albanian (spoken, written and comprehension).
