Responsibilities:

The intern will be based in Beirut, Lebanon. Under the supervision of the Regional Chief Technical Advisor and Project Manager or his/her designated representative(s), responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to, the following:

Undertake research and drafting tasks as required on issues pertaining to anti-corruption, rule of law, and democratic governance trends and developments in the Arab region and worldwide.
Assist in reviewing, translating, and editing documents produced in the framework of the project.
Assist in conducting project communications with partners, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders.
Support the organization of project activities including, amongst others, the development of list of participants and biographies, provision of on-site logistical assistance.
Assist in updating ACIAC’s website as well as related social media outlets.
Assist in updating ACINET website as well as related social media outlets.
Perform other related administrative tasks as necessary.

Requirements:

Education:

Applicants to the UNDP internship programme must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements:

a) Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master’s programme, or higher);

b) Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent);

c) Have recently graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation;

d) Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertake the internship as part of this program.
