Responsibilities:

Develop and Coordinate the Localization Roadmap Implementation towards Advanced Localization

  • Develop a roadmap towards advanced localization aligned with the Country Strategic Plan (CSP) with supported workplan and relevant policies/guidelines, with cross-department collaboration to ensure our ability to be advanced in seven dimensions
  • In collaboration with P&T Department, develop transition roadmap and plan in multiple aspects including personnel, systems, programmatic approach, etcetera and reflect the transition plan in annual workplan and budget for localisation initiative
  • Coordinate the localization roadmap implementation and advise improvements on seven dimensions by relevant accountable departments, with specific focus on partnerships, capacity sharing, and coordination mechanisms, with close collaboration with REALM unit for program monitoring for improvement towards advanced localization in seven dimensions
  • Advise other program directors and heads on implementation of activities/principles in the localization roadmap within program implementation • In collaboration with P&T Department, monitor and advise other department in implementing the localization roadmap towards the advanced localisation
  • Facilitate transformational change in localization in line with guidelines provided by SMT, lead in promoting an environment of continuous learning, where staff is encouraged and supported to grow and develop and are willing to be held accountable for their commitments more specifically for localization roadmap implementation

Partnerships Strategy and Management

  • Based on the CSP, develop partnerships strategy at multiple level with priorities of strategic partners, implementing partners, and coalitions to enabling SC Indonesia achieves its targets in country
  • Manage relationships with SC Indonesia partners and implement action plan required according to the localisation roadmap, including but not limited to partners capacity building, monitoring & evaluation
  • Develop partnerships management manual and other relevant guidelines, procedures, etcetera to enabling SC Indonesia achieve its goals through partnerships

Support the development and implementation high quality programs through ecosystem partnership model in Indonesia

  • With guidance from Chief of PSPO and close collaboration with the Program Impact Creation (PIC) and Advocacy, Communication, Campaigns and Media (ACCM), Finance, People and Transformation departments, ensure a localization roadmap plan is developed (including advocacy plan for scale up of good practice models), aligned with the CSP
  • In guidance form Chief of PSPO and with close collaboration with PIC, ACCM, Finance and POT, facilitate the localization get appropriately resource and ensure capacity strengthening of partnership get implemented.
  • Work closely with Director and Head to Develop ecosystem convener, partner networks and strategic partnerships to increase the reach and impact of our ongoing efforts in advancing Save The Children Indonesia’s mission
  • Work closely with Director and Head of units to develop annual and oversee implementation of program through ecosystem partnerships plan to achieve project objectives and the partnership strategy objectives, as well as to map potential partners for future ecosystem partnerships to create impact –revenue/business opportunities

Strategic Initiatives and Related Policies

  • In collaboration with P&T Department, develop localization policies and other related policies required for SC Indonesia transformation, mainly towards the locally-led (with advanced localization status)
  • Provide inputs and support various strategic initiatives, mainly those related to impact – revenue model, e.g., BESTARI, Eco-Convener, etcetera at Save the Children Indonesia as part of its transformation journey

Brand, Communication, Reputations, and Representation

  • Contribute to ensuring all staff are aware and are actively involved in building and maintaining the brand in all project field sites and with all project external stakeholders including partners
  • Represent Save The Children Indonesia with the Government, Donors, Partners, and Members
  • Contribute to establishing, maintaining, and improving active and regular working relationships with host government authorities, donors and partner agencies, the UN system, and local and international NGOs including other members of Save the Children

Team Management and Development

  • Provide visionary leadership to partnerships unit team, fostering a collaborative and high-impact work environment, ensure the team are working towards the shared vision and goals to achieve the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as written in the Country Strategic Plan (CSP)
  • Collaborate with P&T Department, manage the Develop to Perform (DtP) process, as well as discuss and facilitate required professional development plan for each team members to grow align with SC IDN required fit-for purpose competencies.

 

Requirements:

Essential

  1. Minimum of 15+ years of experiences in non-profit sectors, including exceptional track record in managing strategic partnerships and coalitions at national, province, to district level, with solid understanding towards the localization initiative, preferably related to children in international development settings
  2. Solid understanding on seven dimensions in localisation and able to support the implementation of solid multistakeholder partnerships model (ecosystem convener) to ensure significant positive impacts in fulfilling children’s rights to survive, learn, and be protected are fulfilled, contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030
  3. Exceptional track record in managing and working with implementing partners, with strong partnerships management and partners capacity building, to ensure partners are working towards the same goal in program delivery
  4. Solid experiences in transforming program approach and delivery from direct execution to delivery through partners, supported with end-to-end business process transformation
  5. Proven leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing and inspiring teams, ensure the team are working towards the shared vision and goals to achieve the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  6. Strong ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with governmental bodies, NGOs, donors, and other stakeholders with high level experiences in negotiation and networking skills
  7. Excellent communications skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with strategic mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  8. Financial acumen with experience in budget management, ensuring efficient allocation of resources within the Partnerships Unitof Save the Children Indonesia
  9. A strong commitment to Save the Children’s mission and principles, particularly in promoting and safeguarding the rights of children

Desirable

  1. Experience working in disaster/emergency response is preferred
