Responsibilities:

The Sponsorship In Programming (SIP) Coordinator will coordinate processes that will ensure integration of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship programming essentials in programming in cluster level.

This position will lead coordination with National & Zone Office concerning Sponsorship Integration and internally with APs, PARTNER ORGs and other functions of WVI Indonesia to ensure requirements of Sponsorship in Programming and Sponsorship Essentials. This position requires leading integration with other functions and sectors to ensure Sponsorship Data is being triangulated and utilised to influence programmatic decisions that address child wellbeing issues and maximize children’s meaningful participation through programmes in WVI Indonesia APs.

This position requires to effectively support WVI Indonesia to engage sponsors by creating a compelling, integrated and coherent story that includes both authentic child expression and inspiring proof of change describing the needs, progress and improvements in children’s well-being through Sponsorship Integration in each Area Programs (AP) under WVI Indonesia. This position requires supporting each APs to link Sponsorship Integration activities with children’s participation, life skills and voice (Children’s expression, advocacy and influence) and community led care and protection.

The work achieved because of this role is key to World Vision’s sponsor retention and acquisition efforts globally, by providing child and community data and information that support the optimum experience a sponsor has with the organization. It is through the child and community data and information processed by the team, that sponsors have an opportunity to start and grow a relationship with a sponsored child and their community.

The position reports to the Sponsorship In Programming Lead enabling him/her to lead and achieve the goals and objectives of the maintaining Child Sponsorship requirements of Sponsorship Program Integration effectively in alignment with WV global standards and WV initiative to revitalise Sponsorship through digital platforms.

This role expects to have strong facilitation and persuasion skills for strategic leadership in the areas of capacity building of WVI Indonesia and its stakeholders’ knowledge and understanding of World Vision’s Sponsorship and management for Sponsorship Excellence.

Sponsorship In Programming (SIP) Lead will be responsible for the APs cluster model that WVI Indonesia is working currently and any new additional APs that will start up in future.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science/ Development Studies/ Sociology/ International Relation or any relevant field.
  • Knowledge of World Vision’s Technical programmes and transformational development, organizational policies and standards, including Child Sponsorship standards, LEAP3
  • User experience with WV’s data management and information platforms such as Horizon
  • Experience on World Vision’s Development Programme Approach
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in similar or equivalent positions in development sector or sponsorship-focused organization
  • Understanding of poverty issues, development theories and sustainable development practices
  • Strong analytical skill: think strategically and analytically; provide guidance, solve problems; and make appropriate and timely decisions
  • Strong management skills including the ability to plan and budget; manage performance of partners and contractors; monitor, evaluate and communicate results
  • Strong people management skills including performance management and talent development, as well as good facilitation, mentoring and coaching skills
  • Strong management and facilitation skills in assessment, monitoring, evaluation and reflection processes
  • Good interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity. Strong collaboration and partnership skills to mobilize engagement and influence
