Responsibilities:
- Review TORs for the consultants and provide guidance to the Hiring Manager
- Prepare adverts for the consultant positions and post the adverts online.
- Undertake clerical duties (e.g., answering emails and drafting offer letters).
- Help with resume screening and consolidating of the shortlist for the Hiring Managers review.
- Schedule interviews and keep calendars for all hiring teams and candidates.
- process background checks of the candidates under consideration, including academic verifications.
- Maintain candidate database.

Requirements:
Minimum requirements:
- Education: Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the field of work.
- A bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution in a field relevant to the position may be considered to compensate for three (3) years of experience in case the candidate lacks the minimum years of experience required.
- Work Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience in administrative or clerical.
- Skills:
- Good knowledge of HR principles.
- Knowledge of rules, regulations and procedures within the UN are an asset.
- Good knowledge and skills in using HR systems.
- Ability to extract and format data and to solve operational problems.
- Ability to organize own work, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Portuguese is a strong asset.
