• Data Collection and Monitoring: Collect and compile data on various types of pollution in Tanzania, including air pollution, water pollution, soil contamination, from monitoring stations, government agencies, research studies, and other sources.
• Pollution Source Identification: Identify and map sources of pollution, such as industrial facilities, transportation networks, agricultural activities, waste disposal sites, and urban areas. Analyse the proximity of pollution sources to vulnerable populations and sensitive ecosystems.
• Impact Assessment: Assess the environmental, health, and socio-economic impacts of pollution on ecosystems, human health, and communities. Map the spatial extent and severity of pollution-related risks and vulnerabilities to prioritize mitigation and remediation actions.

Output:

• Mapping of Tanzania’s pollution status, types, sources, impacts and contributors; including ky stakeholders, projects and initiatives for pollution control and management actions
