Here you’re empowered to make a difference in children’s lives by learning, sharing and collaborating to find new ways to solve problems.In this full time, 2 year maximum term role, you’ll work as a part of our Group Operations team in our brand new Melbourne CBD head office to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. The Project Manager plays an important role in delivering on our vision of a better world for children. Whether it’s being responsible for supporting the successful delivery of operational and technology projects in Save the Children Australia’s project pool or working closely with the technology team and business and product owners to deliver projects, you’ll be contributing to our commitment to children in Australia, the Pacific and around the world.

 

You will make a difference by performing the below duties:

· Project Management: Managing the end-to end delivery of strategic projects, focusing on technology implementations and continuous improvement.

· Data Hub Project Execution: Lead and execute projects to support our Data Hub initiative, ensuring effective gathering and documentation.

· Requirements Gathering: Plan and conduct requirements gathering sessions using techniques like workshops and user surveys, interviews, documenting outcomes thoroughly.

· Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Business and Service Owners to develop minimum acceptance criteria and ensure milestone completion

· Change Management and Adoption: Lead the adoption of modern change delivery methods (e.g., MoSCoW, MVP, Kanban, Scrum) and create change activities to support stakeholder adaptation.

· Proven ability to navigate and thrive in complex change and project delivery environments.

· Experience working closely with Technology teams and an ability to facilitate communication and collaboration between technology and business teams

· Strong business requirements collection, and process/workflow analysis skills including understanding of traceability

· Proven experience of using and leading change management activities including change impact assessment, stakeholder management, managing resistance, building change capacity

 

Ideally, you will also possess experience in Human Centred Design / UX design, experience with SaaS and cloud technology solutions & Agile Project Management/Scrum Master Experience.
