Position Overview

The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (Global Partnership), hosted at the United Nations Foundation, is a dynamic international network bringing together over 700 partners including governments, international organizations, private companies, civil society organizations, and many others.
This year we launch our brand-new strategy which will take us through 2030. Our vision is to achieve a world where data and technology is driving sustainable and equitable development. We will deliver this vision by focusing on three core objectives:

  1. We will strengthen national data systems that use data and technology from across the public and private sectors for timely decision-making.
  2. We will make inclusion the norm, putting people at the center of data production, sharing and use so that their experience is visible and the power of data is used to fight inequality.
  3. We will change the rules that govern data, ensuring they are accountable to those who the data is intended to serve.

The Executive Assistant will provide support to the Chief Executive Officer of the Global Partnership as she works to implement the strategy, by managing all day-to-day matters, including but not limited to, calendar and travel management, meeting logistics for internal and external appointments, and expense reporting. The successful candidate will also provide support related to the Board of Directors. This role requires critical thinking and a willingness to constantly learn and evolve, along with excellent organizational and communication skills.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position – 17.5 hours per week for 1 year – based in London, UK. The preferred schedule is from 1:30 pm to 5 pm daily, with some variability due to high-level meeting duties described below.

The Global Partnership London team works both from home and from Public Hall in Westminster. The successful candidate is strongly encouraged to take advantage of opportunities to work in Public Hall, as schedules allow.
