In this full time, permanent role, you’ll work as a part of our Humanitarian team to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. The Emergency Preparedness and Response Advisor plays an important role in delivering on our vision of a better world for children. Whether it’s supporting our teams in the Pacific to deliver high quality humanitarian responses or engaging across our global humanitarian portfolio you’ll be contributing to our commitment to children in Australia, the Pacific and around the world.

 

You will make a difference by:

· Supporting humanitarian preparedness and response capacity in the Pacific

· Providing technical support on disaster risk reduction and anticipatory action programming

· Solidifying our response domestic emergency approach aligned to our greatest technical strengths

· Engaging on key issues across our global humanitarian portfolio

·Engaging with key stakeholders both internal and external to Save the Children to support quality humanitarian programming
