CHILD SAFEGUARDING: (select only one)
Level 3: the role holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work in country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Sub-national CP AoR Coordinator will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective coordination mechanisms at the sub-national level, ensuring timely and regular information-sharing, linking with other coordination forums, monitoring and reporting on the child protection response, participating in monitoring and evaluation exercises, contributing to technical and operational strategic planning, and driving innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building.

Staff reporting to this post: Sub -National Roving CPAoR Coordinator

Working closely with the National Child Protection AoR Coordinators in the following area;
1. Establish and Maintain CP AoR Coordination Mechanism
2. Ensure Timely and Regular Information-Sharing
3. Linkages with Other Working Groups/Coordination Forums
4. Monitoring and Reporting of the Response
5. Participate in Monitoring and Evaluation Exercises
6. Technical and Operational Strategic Planning
