POSITION : SPONSORSHIP MANAGER

GRADE: 16

LOCALISATION: NOUAKCHOTT

DUREE: 1 ANS RENOUVRABLE

But du Poste : To provide technical support and management of sponsorship operations in accordance with sponsorship policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.

Major Responsibilities:

1-Provide technical support and guidance in child development and protection.

2-Facilitate child management standards/KPI (APR, Christmas cards, Annual census, GN, Holds, etc) and production of sponsorship 2.0

3- Provide technical support and guidance in roll out of partnership and local programming initiatives/standards (eg SBT; SBO and TD, Sponsorship 3.0, walking with volunteers…)

4- Networking with SOs, donors and other stakeholders on sponsorship business operations.

5- Providing guidance to cluster and AP teams in ensuring that audit queries (operational) are timely and adequately responded to.

6- Facilitate participatory review and supportive monitoring visit to sponsorship teams in cluster and APs .

7- Initiate for approval of annual Registered Children (RC) growth, reductions, project closure and related issues.

8- Monitoring timely preparation and submission of reports to donors and SOs according to requirements and giving relevant feedback.

9- Prepare annual budgets for sponsorship department in accordance with budgeting procedures and processes.

10- Facilitate staff capacity building on sponsorship management, and ensure its proper implementation.

11-Facilitating the integration of sponsorship management in programming

Other Competencies/Attributes:

• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

• Minimum Qualification required: Bachelor in English, Social sciences and other related fields
• Experience: 3 years in sponsorship management
• Preferred: Master’s degree in any field from an accredited and recognized institution
• Technical Skills & Abilities:
• Computer skills.
• Management information system skills
• Skills in report writing
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Knowledge in Child Sponsorship

Working Environment / Conditions

• Travel: 30% (Domestic and International) is required.
• On call 15%
