OCHA’s new learning platform, OCHA Learn, hosts courses and micro-courses targeting OCHA personnel at large. Courses are categorized into Foundational, Thematic/Technical areas, Strategic areas, and areas relating to the UN Core Values and Behaviors.

The Learning and Development team is working with OCHA functional teams responsible for OCHA’s areas of work (Humanitarian Access, Negotiations, Gender equality, and other) to develop theme-based e-learning courses and micro-courses. These materials draw on various content sources available internally, such as existing training materials, PPT presentations, video recordings, guidelines, articles and other knowledge products.

To capitalize on this knowledge and ensure it benefits all OCHA Personnel, the Learning and Development team is envisioning the creation of short courses and micro-courses, including in the following areas:

• International Humanitarian Law – microlearning series
• Accountability to Affected People (AAP)
• Humanitarian Access and Negotiation
• Climate Change and Environmental action
• Administration and Finance
