RESPONSIBILITIES

The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist position will be expected to lead and support the Let the Children Come (Spiritual Nurture for Filipino Children Project) in the Philippines. The projects’ goals and outcomes include the following:

• Children have positive and caring relationships, allowing them to thrive spiritually, socio-emotionally, and physically.
• Children grow in their awareness, understanding, knowledge and relationship with God.
• Parents/caregivers cultivate safe, loving, nurturing, and responsive relationships with their children.
• Support Groups influence positive social norms and values among families, parents and caregivers.
• Communities have enabling mechanisms for SNC.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in statistics, public administration, public policy, international development, economics, or related field. Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree plus an advanced certificate in M&E, statistics, or economics preferred.
• Professional experience in a M&E position responsible for implementing M&E activities of development projects.
• Proven success in designing, implementing, and operating project M&E systems from project initiation to closeout stages.
• Experience in strategic planning and performance measurement, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, and developing M&E and performance monitoring plans.
• Experience developing reporting tools, including in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience developing and refining data collection tools.
• Experience with data quality assessments and oversight.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Willing to travel in WV area programs/ SNFC covered areas
