TITLE: Child Protection in Emergency Assistant (CPiE)
CONTRACT TYPE: National
TEAM/PROGRAMME: Humanitarian Response
LOCATION: Mae Sot, Thailand (with frequent travel to border areas)
CONTRACT LENGTH: 8 months with possible extension
ROLE PURPOSE:
The CPiE Assistant is responsible for implementing child protection program in along Thai Myanmar border with frequent travel to the field sites. S/he will be responsible for prevention and response activities of the child protection program that include working with the community, psychosocial support activities, and case management. The CPiE Assistant will be expected to support child protection sectoral assessment, project planning, and coordination with other child protection actors. In most circumstances, the post holder will be expected to mentor and/or build the capacity of implementing community volunteers on the field.

Role Dimensions: The position will work closely with the Humanitarian team and Child Protection, CBOs and CSOs.
