ABOUT THE JOB

The Driver is responsible to provide timely and safe transport of passengers and goods in compliance with Operations Handbook, Local driving rules and Area Security Plan and annexes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe transportation for Area office staff and assets
  • Provide accurate reports of mileage
  • Maintain vehicles on daily basis in good repair and a roadworthy condition
  • Safeguard the passengers and vehicles, according to DRC procedures
  • Keep confidentiality of the movement
  • Assist with other office work as required by the Logistics and Safety officer
  • Basic communication with communities during field missions
  • Any other tasks assign by supervisor

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you must have:

Experience and technical competencies:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of spoken English and Local Languages
  • Have a valid driving license.

Education/qualifications:

  • High School, Fleet

Languages:

  • Proficient spoken Dari and Pashto with basics English
