DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 700 staff in Ukraine and will continue significant scale-up in 2024 to
implement emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.
About the job
The Shelter and WASH Assistant will play a key role in the DRC’s response to water rehabilitation needs in the south of the country. The Shelter and WASH Assistant will provide technical support and follow-up on the technical aspects of the DRC program implementation.
The Shelter and WASH Assistant will
establish and maintain working relationships with relevant stakeholders and other humanitarian organizations to ensure proper implementation and coordination of the DRC program. This position has territorial coverage and ensures compliance with DRC internal procedures and guidelines in South Ukraine area.

About you
To be successful in the role of Shelter and WASH Assistant, we expect you to have at least 1
year of experience in in successful implementation of projects in capital construction. Also we expect the following:

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for national staff.
