Who Are We? NRC is an International Non-Governmental Organization that operates in more than 30 countries.
The main headquarter is in Oslo – Norway. NRC resumes its operation in Sudan on March 2020 and since then it has established different Area Offices in Gadarif, Fasher, Geneina, Kosti and South Kordofan.
NRC is mainly involved in different core competencies such as Education, Protection, Wash, Shelter, Livelihoods and Food Security and Camp Management. The current Country Office is placed in Khartoum.
As a priority, NRC is therefore hiring ICLA Assistant, shall be part of establishing NRC’s programme in Sudan.
Role and responsibilities
The purpose of the assistant position is to assist with day-to-day development and eventual implementation of the Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) Programme in Sudan.
The ICLA assistants will support ICLA assessments to be conducted in the different States to help develop ICLA program.
In addition to this, they will be responsible for the provision of information, counselling and legal assistance services to displacement affected communities. This position will involve a lot of travel to field offices as required.
