The post is responsible in providing technical and administrative support to Project Coordinator in carrying out the implementation of Enhancing Child Protection Preparedness through Stronger Collaboration of Local Government Units and Civil Society Organizations in the Localization of Comprehensive Emergency Program for Children through mobilization of CSO partner, Community Support Group, children and young people in the local government units with close coordination with the MDRRMO, LSWDO, MHO. MLGOO, Municipal Prosecutors Office and School district supervisors of the municipalities of Piagapo, Ditsaan Ramain, Marantao and Saguiaran, Lanao del Sur.
The project focus on raising awareness, build capacities, and promote preparedness of local stakeholders to prevent and respond to protection needs before and during emergencies.
It aims to reduce the vulnerabilities and protection risks of children while increasing the humanitarian capacity of local authorities, CSO, and communities to humanitarian crises. The project is also aligned with the Philippine government’s mandate to implement the Children’s Emergency Relief Act that provides for the development and implementation of the Comprehensive Emergency Plan for Children (CEPC).
This post requires comprehensive knowledge of children’s rights, community organizing, training and workshop management, partnership management and budget management.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required for this post.
Working Environment:
Save the Children Philippines operates on a full-spectrum programming. This means that the organization implements its programs in Development and Humanitarian. All staff may be requested to support a humanitarian response as the need arises.
