The IDB is seeking to fill an Oversight, Audit, and Compliance Lead Specialist position to work in the Office of the Executive Auditor (AUG). You will report directly or indirectly to the Executive Auditor, who reports to the President and to the Board through its Audit Committee.

What you will do:
What you’ll need:
Education: A master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems, or related fields, including program development, monitoring, business analysis, etc.
A Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) may be considered in lieu of a master’s degree.
Experience: At least ten years of experience delivering best-practice internal audit services in development institutions, with a preference for familiarity with both the public and private sectors.
Advanced knowledge of risks, ideally demonstrated through work experience in the second line of defense, is highly recommended. Experience in advanced data analysis techniques is a plus, as is practical application of artificial intelligence.
Language(s): Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is desirable.

Type of contract and duration
International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
