2. SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION
Under supervision of Labor Standards Team in OSFG, the intern will provide the following support:
• Research on the use of digital technologies in monitoring labor risks
• Research on the use of innovations for improving labor and working conditions
• Collecting good practices from the ongoing ADB projects on the use of digital technologies for monitoring that could be applied also for labor and working conditions
• Preparation of presentations and briefs.

• Duration: 11 weeks
• Timing: Mid-January 2025 onwards

ADB Headquarters, Manila, Philippines
5. EXPECTED OUTCOME
The working paper and its accompanying presentation of the use of digital technologies in monitoring labor risks and innovations for improving labor and working conditions.
Qualifications
6. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Master’s or PhD program, majoring in Labor/Industrial Relations, Occupational safety and health, Law, Social Sciences, Business Administration or related field, with experience related to the use of digital technologies.
• Intern must be enrolled at a school in one of the ADB member countries for the entire duration of the internship.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Relevant work or research experience in labor and working conditions, occupational safety and health, development studies, safeguards work with MFIs would be an asset.
• Knowledge or applied experience with digital technical and monitoring tools is desirable.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptable to an international, multicultural and multilingual environment, good communication skills and be able to work in a team.
