JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Chief of Social Policy of UNICEF Brazil, the selected consultant will be responsible for updating the analysis of Multidimensional Child Poverty in Brazil, including Climate Change, as per available data.
Requirements
Advanced degree in Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Demography, Statistics, Geography, or related fields.
Experience:
1 – 5 years of experience with data analysis or production of statistics and indicators.

2 – Experience with analysis of microdata from Continuous PNAD or similar databases.
3 – Experience with data analysis software and languages such as SPSS, STATA or R.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
Fluent in Portuguese and English.

The consultant will work inspired by UNICEF’s Multidimensional Child Poverty studies from 2018 and 2023, followed by an update in late 2023.
