Under the overall authority of the Regional Director of the UNESCO Regional Office for Southern Africa, the general guidance of the Regional Project Officer (Education for Health and Well Being) for the O3 PLUS project and the direct supervision of the Senior National Programme Officer, (Education for Health and Well Being, Zimbabwe), the Cluster Coordinator is responsible for providing direct support in the planning, implementation and monitoring of the Our Rights, Our Future, Our Lives (O3 PLUS) project for the realization of positive health, education and gender equality outcomes for young people in the selected Higher and Tertiary Institutions of Masvingo Province – Great Zimbabwe University and Masvingo Poly.
There will be dual reporting and accountability for the Cluster Coordinator, between UNESCO and host college or university.
Specifically, the incumbent will perform the following tasks;
Institutionalization of CSE
Capacity building in HTEIs to promote improved health services provision
Implementation on laws and policies on sexual and gender-based violence
Facilitation of working knowledge-sharing platforms
Support research, monitoring and evaluation
