Key accountabilities

Program Planning and Implementation

Oversee the implementation of interventions related to cash vouchers, food security, livelihoods, and income generation activities.
Collaborate with local communities to identify sustainable livelihood opportunities and promote income-generating activities.
Support developing weekly and monthly activities plans in line with the annual DIP, and in coordination with other members of the FSL/CVA team and other departments.
Carry out the implementation of project activities according to relevant plans.
Support tracking progress against weekly, monthly, and annual plans. Identify challenges and propose solutions to ensure timely and effective implementation of activities.
Support coordination with MEL staff to plan, implement, analyze, and review the results of PDMs and other relevant monitoring data on a monthly basis.
Support beneficiary accountability and participatory approaches throughout the program cycle.
Participate in the design of initiatives to monitor or strengthen program quality, including assessments, registration, and beneficiary tracking.
Support in the cash flow projections.
Facilitate regular team meetings to review data and carry out analysis, sharing the results with the FSL /CVA team.
Ensure to follow sectoral related SOPs for FSL and CVA interventions and SCI procedures and policies.
Participation in in-person / remote registration for cash assistance.
Conduct regular field visits to assess the impact of interventions and identify areas for improvement.
Coordination and Collaboration:

Support coordination with the financial service provider team and provide them with needed support to conduct cash distributions.
Work closely with local authorities, partner organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and collaboration in project implementation.
Represent Save the Children in relevant coordination meetings and forums.
Documentation and Reporting

Support the program team in ensuring a secure and organized filing system and archive for beneficiary registration, distribution records, and other required documentation. Where necessary, cross-check paper-based information with electronic ledgers and reports to ensure accurate reporting.
Maintain files and archives of FSL/ CVA program support documentation
Support basic analysis of program support documentation.
Administrative Support

Support translation of documents between English, Ukrainian and Russian.
Child Safeguarding Responsibility:

Ensure that staff providing all beneficiaries of your program with ongoing, age-appropriate verbal or written information in relevant languages about Save the Children’s Child Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct.

QUALIFICATION:

Minimum a B.A. Degree in related field.
A minimum of one years’ experience implementing projects.
Prior experience implementing food security & Livelihoods and cash transfer programming.
Good knowledge of Accountability Principles and MEAL.
Language skills in English, Ukrainian and Russian (essential).

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Essential

Excellent knowledge of project management cycle.
Ability to work well in a team, train other staff, and demonstrate experience in efficiently managing a team.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Experienced at conducting project monitoring and evaluation.
Demonstrated skills, experience, and knowledge of community development; working with children and on children’s issues.
Significant people management skills/experience and proven ability to create an environment which encourages team-working and motivates a team across various geographical areas.
Capacity to anticipate change and adapt the plans and priorities accordingly
