Purpose of the position:
The DREAMS Field Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of DREAMS field interventions across the project catchment area, with an increased focus on ensuring success uptake of high impact HIV and Violence preventions, SRH and Social services amongst AGYW.
The Coordinator will further ensure effective collaboration between the DREAMS and OVC Technical areas. She/ he will ensure proper coordination of field level activities conducted with key stakeholders such as clinical service providers, agricultural extention officers, vocational training institutions, and auxiliary institutions.
Major Responsibilities:
1. The Field Coordinator DREAMS position will be responsible for facilitating direct field level implementation of DREAMS interventions including HIV Prevention and Livelihoods interventions offered by the project. He/she will conduct and sustain community and stakeholder engagement to enhance project implementation.
The Coordinator will be responsible for coordination and the management of field level relationships with service providers and auxiliary institutions.
The position will provide on the ground technical backstopping to Program Officers to ensure model fidelity in the implementation of project interventions.
The position will coordinate aftercare service for beneficiaries receiving clinical and startup support under livelihoods.

Conduct and sustain community and stakeholder relationships to ensure project ownership and collaboration. They will play a key role in facilitating beneficiary feedback to inform real time program improvements.
3. The Coordinator will provide direct supportive supervision to HIV prevention Program Officers and Livelihoods Program Officers.
4. Facilitate comprehensive quality data flow, reflection and adaptation of implementation approaches for improved project outcomes.
5. Ensure proper project management by ensuring interventions are delivered on time, on budget and on target.
They will participate in field financial reporting meetings for proper budget tracking.
6. Supports overall project management including report writing for both internal and external purposes.
7. Capture and document stories of impact, best practices lessons to inform programing and cross learning amongst project teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
Prior Work Experience: A minimum of two years of progressive and responsible experience in strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, project design, program management is required.
Experience in Programme Coordination and supportive supervision required Experience in report writing (management and donor reports) Skills and Abilities: Communication, leadership, team management, negotiation and risk management skills Ability to manage a team and provide field level direction to the officers Ability to establish and manage stakeholder relationships Ability to understand and maneuver through the Inkhundla and community structures. Strong problem solving skills
