Purpose of the position:
The Field Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of OVC interventions across the project catchment areas, with an increased focus on the identification and enrolment of C/ALHIV.
The coordinator will further ensure effective collaboration between the OVC and DREAMS Technical areas. She/ he will maintain relationships with clinical partners and health care facilities.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for facilitating direct field level implementation of OVC interventions of the project, including identification and enrolment of OVC Sub populations and OVC that qualify for recruitment into the DREAMS technical area. The Coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring the implementation of caregiver interventions, including parenting and WORTH.

The Coordinator will be responsible for coordination and management of the relationships with health care facilities. She/ he will be responsible for ensuring the identification and enrollment of OVC sub-populations, particularly C/ALHIV.
3. The Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring continuity of care for C/ALHIV.
4. Conduct and sustain community and stakeholder relationships to ensure project ownership and collaboration.
5. Provide direct supervision to OVC and Linkages program officers including providing oversight in the planning and delivery of field engagement.
The Coordinator will also be responsible for the enforcement of sustained program officer engagement with community cadre.
6. Facilitate comprehensive quality data flow, reflection and adaptation of approaches in the field
7. Facilitate beneficiary engagement project
8. Supports overall project management
9. Capture and document field dynamics, impact stories and lessons learnt
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
Prior Work Experience: A minimum of three years of progressive and responsible experience in strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, project design, program management is required.
Experience in Programme Coordination and supportive supervision required Experience in report writing (management and donor reports) Skills and Abilities: Communication, leadership, team management, negotiation and risk management skills Ability to manage a team and provide field level direction to the officers Ability to establish and manage stakeholder relationships Ability to understand and maneuver through the Inkhundla and community structures. Strong problem solving skills
