JOB DESCRIPTION

Your tasks

 

  • Establishment of a People and Culture Team including the expansion of strategic HR work, improvement of HR standards and processes
  • Advising EducAid on the development of the curriculum – particularly with regard to the integration of soft skills
  • Developing concepts to improve the employability of students, career guidance services and entrepreneurial activities
  • Close cooperation with GIZ projects (e.g.sustainable economic development) on possible vocational training offers and requirements for the labor market as well as entrepreneurial expertise
  • Special focus on girls – with regard to the design of possible career paths and entrepreneurship

 

Your profile

 

  • University degree in education or another degree with a comparable focus
  • First experience in the field of organizational development in a developing country
  • Initial experience and expertise in basic and vocational education in a developing country
  • High intercultural sensitivity, empathy, ability to work in a team and patience
  • Excellent oral and written communication and facilitation skills
  • Resilience to work in a challenging environment with difficult weather conditions and limited access to electricity and water
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language
