The UNRWA Digital Impact, Technology, and Innovation Department (DITID) is looking for an experienced Business Analyst consultant to manage the operational aspects of the eHealth system. Responsibilities include addressing reported bugs, handling service requests, CRs, conducting quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) with experience in working with SQL queries and DevOps. The consultant will report to Senior Technical Lead (HQ-Amman).

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Technical Lead, and in close collaboration with the product line team and software development team, the selected Business Analyst consultant will be responsible for the following tasks: • Assists the product line manager in systems analysis for the design, implementation, customization and maintenance of the eHealth application, collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand and document specific eHealth/EMR requirements. • Prepares extensive documentation to capture user requirements and detailed • system and programme specifications. • Proactively communicates with business counterparts to ensure that detailed. • system and programme specification documents are captured and documented • comprehensively. • Assists in preparation of instruction manuals and other documentation for the • systems and application(s) to which assigned. • Provides end-user support, including maintenance tasks for eHealth system. • Manage ehealth releases from testing, UAT until deployment. • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications/special skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • University degree from an accredited educational institution in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • At least 4 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong business analysis, SQL queries, DevOps, and service desk systems. • knowledge of relational databases and SQL server, MS Office, MS Project or similar tools. • Basic project management skills to coordinate eHealth system implementation tasks. • Ability to analyze complex clinical workflows and data requirements. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and propose effective technical solutions. • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
