The Admin – Finance Intern will provide admin, financial and accounting functions to support IUCN Laos Country Programme and Projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Admin – Finance Intern will support the Country Finance Officer, and Office and Programme Secretary on daily works related to admin, finance and accounting works, among other tasks required by the Country Office.

The position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Admin and logistics:

– Provide support to general admin and logistic tasks.
– Document filing.

– Support registration of office assets.
– Support procurement.
– Support events, meetings, workshop, and training organized by progammes.
– Receive office phone calls.

– Delivery of official documents.

Finance:

– Support Finance Officer on daily finance matters.
– Support financial report preparation.
– Check Travel Allowance and Expense Claim documents.
– Follow up and check Invoices from suppliers/vendors and consultants.
– Support internal and external audit missions.
– Support the payment to suppliers/vendors, and DSA to participants.
– Finance document filing.

– Other finance and accounting works based on assessment from time to time.

OTHER DUTIES

Carry out any other duties as requested by the IUCN Country Office.

REQUIREMENTS

 

• General experience:

Fresh graduated from University and College or professional with one year of working experiences. The candidate shall have good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills in English and Lao, and able to work in multicultural environment.

Education:
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, or Business Administration. Finance and/or Accounting with previous experiences is an advantage.

Specific skills:
Proficient in verbal and written English and Lao language.

Flexibility to perform other tasks as required by IUCN Country Office.
