JOB DETAILS

1. Managing communication and overall coordination of the program, including the Social Entrepreneurship training, Financial Literacy training, community engagements, and the UpShift program, including the selection of applicants, coordination of training sessions (including UpShift Bootcamp), design and communication work, and overall management of the interventions.
2. Conducting research with young people, preparing reports, and supporting their community initiatives (at least 6 initiatives).
3. Managing Social Entrepreneurship training (2 days) and UpShift Bootcamp (3 days).
Managing communication and overall coordination of the program, including the Social Entrepreneurship training, Financial Literacy training, community engagements, and the UpShift program, including the selection of applicants, coordination of training sessions (including UpShift Bootcamp), design and communication work, and overall management of the interventions. Training participants selected, sessions held, with attendance records and feedback collected from participants. The project is well managed. 23 days
Conducting research with young people, preparing reports, and supporting their community initiatives (at least 6 initiatives). Challenges identified through research, community initiatives were undertaken 7 days
Managing Social Entrepreneurship training (2 days) and UpShift Bootcamp (3 days), including catering for around 50 participants. Final report covering trainings held and UpShift interventions undertaken. 10 days

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Education, Skills building, behaviour change, social and economic sciences and teaching.
  • At least 3 years of professional work experience in the field of social work, child/adolescent development, and/or support to volunteer/youth activities.
  • Understanding of youth participation principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong organizational, coordination and management skills to effectively plan, execute, and monitor project activities. Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage and motivate participants effectively.
  • Experience in working with developmental partners, including UN, and governmental partners.
  • Previous work experience with NGOs and volunteers.
  • Excellent Azerbaijani communication and writing skills.
  • Candidates based in Lankaran will be given a preference.
