The Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (ICPSD) is the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) global organization mandated to leverage the role of the private sector in development. The ICPSD was established in Istanbul, Turkiye on the basis of the Partnership Framework Agreement signed between the Government of the Republic of Turkiye and the United Nations Development Program in March 2011. The Center is one of the five global thematic centers of UNDP, advocating and facilitating the contribution of the private sector to human development and inclusive growth through the following thematic priority areas:
– Private sector engagement through South-South cooperation for the SDGs.
– Private Sector Engagement in Digital Transformation and Skills Development
– Impact Investing.
– Private Sector Resilience and Crisis Response.
The Center also hosts four global initiatives: Business Call to Action, SDG Philanthropy Platform, Global Islamic Finance and Impact Investing Platform, SDG AI Lab and Connecting Business Initiative.
Innovation Campus starts the Coding and Programming training in September 2024. The volunteers are expected to complete their preparations before the training and deliver 4 live classes in Turkish starting from September 2024.
The Python course volunteer is expected to
1. Conduct a minimum of 4 online sessions in Turkish between September 5th and October 14th
2. Cover “Innovation Campus Coding and Programming” Course topics and ensure a comprehensive understanding among students.
3. Possess advanced knowledge of Python to effectively convey complex concepts.
4. Demonstrate practical skills through live coding sessions.
5. Provide a pre-recorded demo for each session.
6. Dedicate sufficient time for preparation, teaching, and interaction with students (Evening sessions during the weekdays and morning sessions on the weekend)
