Internship Opportunity
Join the Global Internal Engagement and Communications Capability team to connect staff and leaders across the Partnership via our global internal channels. We engage and equip staff with news, content, events, and campaigns. We strengthen organisational unity and our global brand through strategic partnering, technical leadership, and capacity building. We inspire trust in World Vision’s leadership and impact by enhancing communication skills and thought leadership capabilities among our leaders, experts, and Boards/Advisory Councils.
What You’ll Do:
- Craft and Promote Exciting Programs: Assist in designing and promoting engaging programs and content that inspire staff to support our global strategies and campaigns.
- Manage Major Events: Support the planning and execution of significant events for staff and board members, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Foster Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with stakeholders across various offices to boost engagement and participation in staff initiatives.
- Coordinate with External Partners: Work with external vendors and service providers, such as designers and consultants, to enhance our events and campaigns.

- Event Coordination Experience: Proficient in organizing events, whether virtual or in-person.

- Location: Remote within the US. You must be physically located in one of the following states where WVI is registered as an employer: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia (Washington D.C.), Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
- Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Communications, Marketing, Organizational Psychology, Public Administration, Project Management, Journalism, Content creation, International affairs/studies or related field. Interest or focus on Diversity Equity & Inclusion.
- Internship Cohort Dates: 27 January – 25 April.
- Stipend: this internship is unpaid, but all US-based interns receive a monthly stipend of $800.
- Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (20-40 hours/week)
Eligibility
All candidates must meet the following requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen/resident or F1-student visa) and have a valid US Social Security Number.
- Able to commit to at least 20 hours per week for the entire internship period: 27 January – 25 April.
- Recent college graduate (within 2 years) or current student from a graduate programme.
- Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.
- Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes, and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices.
