- University degree in a relevant field of study or relevant experience (e.g. engineering).
- Professional experience in a governmental, inter-governmental or military environment.
- Previous experience in project and programme management in a military/government environment at senior (equivalent OF-3+) officer level.
- Knowledge of acquisition and lifecycle management best practices in the Industry and/or NATO environment.
- Proven experience in project management, which must include experience as project manager for sizeable (multi-million euro) complex projects in an international environment.
- Recognised Programme Management and Project Management Certification [e.g. Managing Successful Programmes, PRINCE 2, Project Management Professional (PMP)], or International Project Management Association (IPMA).
- Knowledge of organisational design principles.
- NATO’s official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable.

POST DETAILS
- Basic monthly salary: USD 11 644.34, tax free.
- (Definite Duration) This position is required for a limited time and the incumbent of this post will be offered a definite duration contract until 31 December 2027.
