As the world of education continues to evolve, the need for flexible, adaptive, and innovative teaching methods has never been more critical. UNICEF’s Learning Passport program is at the forefront of this transformation, offering a comprehensive digital learning platform designed to support educators and students globally. To further aid teachers in navigating this new landscape, we are excited to introduce the Digital Literacy SKills pathway for Educators.
We are seeking 2 Online Volunteers to support us by translating 7 digital literacy courses from English to French. To this end the Online Volunteers are asked:
– To translate the 7 courses, which is 2500-4000 words long into French
– Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience
The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the document in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed.
The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the Education Section Programme Group at UNICEF HQ and learn about the ways in which the translated product contributes to improving the digital literacy skills of teachers.
Candidates should be fluent in French and fluent in English. Familiarity with technical terms related to basic technology will be considered an advantage. Previous translation experience is considered an asset.
