You have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or an acceptable combination of education and experience, with demonstrated strong performance in the administration of complex grant agreements.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking) and fluency in Spanish. Proficiency in French is considered an asset. **
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in project administration and financial management, preferably with exposure to risk management and contracting.
  • An in-depth understanding of policies, procedures and practices governing grant administration.
  • An enhanced knowledge of international development.

  • Providing financial and administrative advice and support services in all phases of a project’s lifecycle.
  • Ensuring the effective and efficient stewardship of resources across a wide variety of projects and externally funded programs.
  • Ensuring the compliance of the administrative and financial aspects of the project proposals and considering the associated risks.
  • Being the front-line representative of grant administration for grantees and internal clients at IDRC.
  • Monitoring risk mitigations of project funds.
  • Joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion, and equity.
