Digital communication plays a critical role in UNICEF’s communication strategy, contributing to fulfilling UNICEF’s mandate in the country and enhancing UNICEF’s brand and credibility. The communications products have diverse audiences, both English and Arabic speakers. The Online Volunteer will support with ensuring that communications products are accessible for different audiences and that the language used is relevant to the target audiences.
We are seeking two Online Volunteer to support us by translating communication materials on a range of topics from English to Arabic and Arabic to English. To this end the Online Volunteer is asked:
To translate a maximum of 2 video scripts per week.
Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience.
The selected Online Volunteers will be provided weekly with the documents as they arise in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed.
Translation skills, fluency in both Arabic and English. No job experience required.
