Title of project: Mobile Application Development
Introduction: The Livelihood Matching Candidate Blueprint is an innovative platform developed by the UNHCR Data Analysis Group (DAG) to facilitate job matching for refugees in Jordan. This platform employs advanced algorithms to analyze refugee profiles, including their skills, experiences, and interests, and matches them with suitable opportunities offered by UNHCR partners. The current initiative aims to transform this blueprint into a fully-functional, user-friendly mobile application, enhancing accessibility and effectiveness for both refugees and partners.
The mobile application will serve as a comprehensive framework for candidate matching, offering intuitive tools and features to support the entire recruitment process. By leveraging mobile technology, we aim to significantly expand the reach and impact of the Livelihood Matching Candidate program, promoting economic development and self-reliance among refugee communities in Jordan.
Expected Outcomes:
1. Increased accessibility: A user-friendly mobile application available on both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring wider reach among refugee populations.
2. Enhanced matching accuracy: Implementation of advanced algorithms in the mobile environment to improve the precision of job and business opportunity matches.
3. Streamlined user experience: Intuitive interface design allowing refugees to easily create profiles, search for opportunities, and track their applications.
4. Efficient partner engagement: A dedicated admin interface for UNHCR partners to post opportunities, review applications, and manage the recruitment process.
5. Real-time communication: Integration of push notifications to keep users informed about new opportunities, application status updates, and relevant news.
6. Data-driven insights: Comprehensive dashboards providing valuable analytics on user engagement, matching success rates, and overall platform performance.
7. Scalable infrastructure: A robust backend system capable of handling increasing user loads and potential expansion to other regions.
8. Offline functionality: Key features accessible without constant internet connectivity, considering potential limitations in refugee settings.
9. Increased self-reliance: Measurable increase in successful job placements and business opportunity uptake among refugee communities.
10. Knowledge dissemination: Successful deployment on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, serving as a model for similar initiatives in other regions or contexts.
